DJ-6-B Electric Spark Leak Detector is a precision inspection device specifically designed for detecting the continuity of anti-corrosion coatings on metal surfaces. Utilizing the principle of high-voltage discharge, this instrument can rapidly locate micro-pinholes, cracks, or coating defects in protective layers, making it suitable for quality inspection of metal substrates such as pipelines, storage tanks, and marine structures during anti-corrosion engineering projects.
The equipment features an intelligent voltage regulation system, offering adjustable detection voltage from 0.5kV to 6kV to accommodate various coating thicknesses (including epoxy coal tar, polyethylene, and fusion-bonded epoxy). Equipped with a high-sensitivity probe, it effectively identifies coating defects as small as 0.1mm. Audible and visual alarms provide real-time feedback during detection, ensuring reliable and intuitive defect localization.
Designed for industrial environments, the instrument incorporates impact-resistant engineering plastic housing with IP54 protection rating, capable of operating within -20℃ to 50℃ temperature range.
