English Introduction
The HS5721 1/1 Octave Band Filter is a compact and portable instrument widely used in the field of acoustic measurement. When used in conjunction with the HS5670 or HS5660 sound level meter, it can perform frequency analysis across 10 bands with center frequencies ranging from 31.5Hz to 16000Hz. The frequency to be measured can be easily selected through the panel buttons. When used with a sound level meter, the sound level of the passband can be directly read by switching the sound level meter. In addition, it can be connected to a level recorder to automatically analyze and record noise.
This filter has the following features: a frequency range of 31.5Hz to 16000Hz with 10 bands; it can directly connect to the synchronous input/output signal of the sound level meter without the need for external cables; frequency switching is done through electronic switches controlled by buttons; it can perform frequency analysis in the "FLAT" characteristic of the sound level meter, and the "A" weighting characteristic can also be used when using the filter; it can perform spectral analysis synchronously with the recorder through serial binary code; it is powered by the internal power supply of the sound level meter; pressing the "GAIN" button can amplify the signal by 20dB to read lower sound pressure level values.
