The device has a wide temperature measurement range, covering from -30℃ to 550℃ (-22℉ to 1022℉), making it suitable for various applications such as measuring the surface temperature of objects that are difficult to approach or touch, hotspots of distribution boards and motor equipment, as well as temperature measurement in processing procedures.
Its temperature measurement accuracy is relatively high, with a precision of ±2℃/4℉ in the range of -30℃ to 100℃ (-22℉ to 212℉), and ±2% of the reading in the range of 101℃ to 550℃ (213℉ to 1022℉). Moreover, the device is equipped with an auto-shutoff function that turns it off after 10 seconds of inactivity, helping to conserve battery power. It uses a thermopile sensor (6-14μm) with a fixed emissivity of 0.95, and the field of view is 100mm in diameter at a distance of 1000mm.
